How were you challenged as you prepared for this ride?
From Kim: At 61 the most amazing thing about preparing for this trip has been building up the muscles that I would need for rides. There were times when I felt so sick during the practices, I thought I couldn't make it. But after 12 miles (20 km) or so I was fine... Peter told us about the trip two years ago, and we said we would pay for it. And again last year, we said we would pray. But this year when he mentioned it I said, 'we'll come too.' Somehow it just popped out of my mouth."
